Mourners have honoured murdered human rights activist Natalia Estemirova, accompanying her body through Grozny, Chechnya's capital, and home to her family.

Dmitry Medvedev, Russia's president, has called her death a very sad event and pledged that her killers will be punished.

But the organisation she worked for blames Ramzan Kadyrov, Chechnya's Kremlin-backed president, for her death.
