    Racing down an active volcano on a wooden board is not everyone's preferred holiday activity, but it is the latest in extreme sports for thrill seekers.

    To try volcano boarding, thousands of travellers are heading to Nicaragua's second largest city, Leon, better known for its Spanish colonial architecture and legacy.
