The Blackhands: Bradley Riot, Johnny Rocket, and Nic Morreale.
We are booking a month long tour across the lower half of the United States in January 2012.
The tour starts in Los Angeles, CA. We will be touring through Arizona, Texas, Louisiana, and to Bradley's home state of Florida! From there, we travel north to Georgia and east to Alabama, Tennessee, Arkansas, Oklahoma, back to Texas, and over to New Mexico with a final stop in Las Vegas, Nevada.
We will leave Los Angeles on January 3rd, 2012 to head to Phoenix, AZ for our first show. We will return to the golden state on January 29th after a show in Las Vegas, NV.
Our main goal for this tour is to have the music we write and record heard by as many people as possible. This is also an important trip for us considering Nic and Johnny have never seen where Bradley grew up and have yet to meet Mom and Dad!
In a van! Remember those family road trips? It is kind of like that except there is really loud music all of the time and not much sight seeing. You still get in trouble for asking, "Are we there yet?"
Our good friend, Mike, of Suicide King Entertainment, has been gracious enough to loan us his van and, in return, we pay for all of his expenses (food and lodging) on the tour. This is great for us as Mike has been on a previous tour with us and knows how we operate. He will be able to help us with set up/tear down of equipment at shows as well as sell merchandise for us. He is invaluable as a sound guy and can run a pretty good light show!
For this tour, we have set a humble goal of $2,000 which would cover the cost of gas and van maintenance that comes with a cross country trip. Reaching this goal would allow us to go on tour with the knowledge that we would make it to all of our booked destinations. However, the actual budget when factoring in food, water, lodging, and advertising, is somewhere around $5,000! The bottom line is, the more money that gets raised, the more comfortable the trip is for us! =)
As a result of networking with our many fans across the nation, we have been able to set up shows in most major cities across the United States. Now, The Blackhands understand how tight money is these days and we know everyone likes presents, so we have some pretty cool things lined up for all of those who do decide to back us in our journey! Also, the more you donate, the longer we can tour and cover more ground. That means we can go to all of the places that are too far out of our tour oval and nobody gets left out. We can also book a follow up tour sooner with more dates and locations to see all of our fans!
Without friends and fans like you this would not be possible. Thanks so much for supporting independent artists like us and donating to make our dream a reality!
