An Egyptian court is expected to announce a verdict shortly in a case where train operators face accusations of negligence.

A train crash last October killed 18 people - the latest in a string of disasters that have plagued the Middle Easts largest railway network for the past two decades.

But that crash has sparked a backlash in Egypt's parliament over who should take the blame for transport disasters, as Rawya Rageh reports.
