Iraq is marking the withdrawal of US troops from cities and towns on Tuesday as Sovereignty Day.

While the occasion is being celebrated on the Iraqi streets, an atmosphere of uncertainty hangs over the future for thousands of Iraqis who now carry the onus of keeping their country safe.
