Linda Vista, the former Los Angeles area hospital has been closed for almost 20 years, but there has been a variety of film production taking place on its grounds including a ghost hunting reality show. Many refer to Linda Vista as the most haunted place in Los Angeles.
After a 40 million dollar renovation and conversion, the building, known for its creepy and haunting aesthetic will be transformed in attractive condos for senior citizens.

A mental hospital in Louisville, Kentucky had been the site of another renovation in a supposedly haunted building. According to WDRB, the owner planned to remodel the building into a hotel, spa and nightclub, but the infamous fourth floor was to be off limits for guests, except those interested in conducting research into the paranormal.
