Stars talk babies at Snow White premiere

A green carpet complete with trees, mushrooms and black ravens set the scene for the world premiere of "Snow White and the Huntsman".

The classic Brothers Grimm fairytale, stars Kristen Stewart, Chris Hemsworth and Charlize Theron who were on hand to promote the film, and talk about babies.

New mum Theron, who adopted son Jackson earlier this year, revealed she almost didn't make it to the red carpet.

SOUNDBITE: Actress Charlize Theron, saying: (English)

"Yes, he had a little moment tonight where he didn't recognize me which really broke my heart. Really broke my heart. I was saying good bye to him and he just went 'Who's that?' and then he recognized my voice but he was so confused. That was heartbreaking. I was like 'Take the Dior off! Take the Dior off! I must have my son recognize me."

Chris Hemsworth's baby is just days old and thankfully arrived during a break in his busy schedule.

SOUNDBITE Actor Chris Hemsworth, saying: (English)

"Great, couldn't be happier. You know it's all as I said I am thankful that it all sort of worked out and I was here for it you know. Cause I have been on various press tours and what have you around the world. -- It's wonderful."

Hemsworth plays the Hunstman who is ordered kill Snow White, by the evil Queen who sees her as a threat to her existence.

The film opens in UK theatres on May 30 and in the United States on June 1.
