From http://www.youtube.com/user/tsfitzpa: Okay, so my weight was never an issue for me when it comes to my bodywork...that is until I read an article online. The article went into detail about how massage therapists can not be overweight because they can't get around a client on the table and/or their excess weight may come into contact with the client. I've experienced neither of these problems, but now I find myself wondering if I really can be a successful MT. I have had to modify my techniques, but that is without affecting the quality of my work. And don't get me wrong, I do want to lose, but I don't plan on putting my career on hold to do so. What are your thoughts?
