Classic Game Room HD reviews REMINGTON GREAT AMERICAN BIRD HUNT for Nintendo Wii. It's Duck Hunt for the new millennium! Waste flocks of birds with reckless abandon as you send those pompous, feathered, hollow boned monsters to a shallow grave. Shoot ducks, turkeys, quail and other winged wonders with a variety of Remington brand shotguns. What could be another sub-par sporting game turns out to be a fantastic party game with good production values, excellent aiming and controls and straight-forward simple gameplay. This CGR review of Remington Great American Bird Hunt shows gameplay on the Nintendo Wii with straight up game play from Remington Great American Bird Hunt. CGR is playing with the Wii controller in the Buckshot Lock and Load shotgun accessory, a must for this game. You can also use the Wii Zapper or just the Wiimote. CGR digs this game because it oozes fun cheesiness and "Hunter Vision" to slow down time. The challenge in the game is excellent as you play through the tournament mode and slowly increases with difficulty as birds fly in erratic patterns and the sky fills with birds that you can't shoot. Good times, Remington Great American Bird Hunt is good, old school style bird shooting action reminiscent of the classic Duck Hunt on NES.
