One year after Cyclone Nargis hit Myanmar more than 100,000 people are said to still be in need of aid for basic needs. At the time of the cyclone the governments slow response was said to compound the disaster in which 78,000 people died. As the monsoon season approaches aid agencies are now saying the countrys rulers need to do more and urgent funds have to be sent to help survivors.
