Jerome Kerviel has put the sleepy French town of Pont-L'Abbe, where he spent much of his childhood, firmly on the map. Here in northwestern France, like many parts of the country, the man accused of losing billions of dollars at French bank Societe Generale, has become a national hero. Through his lawyers, Kerviel has told investigators he was convinced the bank's bosses knew of his bets but turned a blind eye. Lawyers for Societe Generale say he is lying. Nazanine Moshiri reports.
