    One of the casualties of the Greek-Turkish divide in Cyprus has been the island's historic sites.

    Churches have been looted in the north. Greek Cypriots say many historic sites are not being protected properly - but the Turks claim they are doing all they can.

    Al Jazeera's Nicole Itano reports on the damage to ancient Christian buildings and artifacts in the region.
