Cui Jian is known as the godfather of Chinese rock music whose song Nothing to My Name became the unofficial anthem of the Tiananmen Square protests of 1989.

The 47-year-old rock singer says he is backing the Olympics but will remain true to the spirit of rock-and-roll.

He tells Al Jazeera that making trouble is the job of a rock-and-roll star.
