Kasabian, Wild Belle rock Mulberry's Coachella party

It was the perfect way to end a day of heavy partying at Coachella.

British luxury goods brand Mulberry hosted the Pit Party at the Parker Hotel in California's Palm Springs, close to the annual music festival.

Mulberry invited fellow Brits Kasabian to perform an exclusive midnight acoustic set.

Amongst those attending included Mulberry's Creative Diretor Emma Hill and Emma Watson

Lily Collins, daughter of British rocker Phil Collins and star of "Mirror Mirror" was seen with fellow actress Kate Bosworth.

Lily Collins, daughter of Phil Collins and star of new comedy "Mirror Mirror", was also on hand.

Guests were picked up from the festival and brought back to the house, where they were treated to food and drink and lush sofas with a monster theme, taken from the brand's autumn/winter 2012 collection.

It was a far cry from Kasabian's first appearance at Coachella.

Backstage, Serge Pizzorno and Tom Meighan admitted even they did something even they were ashamed of.

SOUNDBITE: Kasabian Band Members Sergio "Serge" Pizzorno (Left) and Tom Meighan, saying (English):

"It was so hot and for the first time and the only time we done it as we played without our top on, which is something we never do and vowed never to do as kids. That's how hot it was."

Earlier in the day hotly-tipped US band Wild Belle performed their debut single "Keep You".

The brother-and-sister act from Chicago talked about their rocky start as a band.

SOUNDBITE: Wild Belle Band Members Elliot Bergman (Right) and Natalie Bergman, saying (English):

"Well we tried playing the new stuff out live at No Mo show and it didn't go over at all, and we thought 'Well we need to get this music out.'

NATALIE, SAYING: Well I was fired first and then everybody quit.

ELLIOT, SAYING: Everbody quit, we reformed as Wild Belle and (joking) we got No Mo back together, no.

NATALIE, SAYING: Everyone's happy. We just had to develop a new project, entirely. Something different from my own and something different from his and we just came together.

REPORTER, SAYING: I like the drama of how it happened, like the fireworks."

For the first time, Coachella will be held twice on consecutive weekends.

Headliners returning for another round of the madness on Friday (April 20) include: Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, the Black Keys and Radiohead.
