Mexico, 16 April (EFE). (Camera: Asela Viar).- Costa Rican singer Chavela Vargas performed on stage to present her last work 'Luna Grande' (Big Moon), an album dedicated to Spanish poet Federico Garcia Lorca, who was murdered during the Spanish Civil War.
Vargas, who was accompanied by Mexican singer Eugenia Leon, Spanish singer Martirio and Federico Garcia Lorca's niece, recited his most well-knowed poems to a devoted audience.
The singer, 92, finished this concert-recital with a poetic statement: "Go ahead Federico, I am going back with my flowers, tired of so much love, of so many open doors seeing butterflies that sleep in the front door of my hut".
