    The president of Bolivia has appealed to his neighbours for help, as months of torrential rains devastate his country.

    South America's poorest nation is already looking at a clean up bill of around half a billion dollars.

    The UN's World Food Programme is providing aid for tens of thousands of people, while rescue teams on the ground are scrambling to reach those still in danger.
