Robothespian is an entertainment robot, designed to meet and greet guests, interact with voice commands, and be controlled through a progammable interface. It does all of this running on an Atom processor (the Intel processor that powers Netbooks). At CeBIT, Engineered Arts Limited, the company behind Robothespian, was demonstrating the ability to control Robothespian's movements by using the Kinect. Here the company walks through a series of performances, from Hamlet, to Singing in the Rain, to Jaws, to Taxi Driver, fully demostrating the capabilities of the robot performer.
