Hong Kong Protest Against CCP on Tomb Sweeping Day

In Hong Kong, about 20 members of the League of Social Democrats—or LSD—protested against the Chinese regime, demanding the release of rights activists on Wednesday during the tomb sweeping day, also know as the Qingming Festival.
They marched from the Western Region Police Station to the CCP's Liaison Office chanting slogans like: "Let the Communists fall," and "The Communist Party is shameful."
LSD members paid their respects with a minute of silence to victims of persecution by the Chinese Communist Party.
Chairman of the LSD, Leung Kwok-hung criticized the CCP for creating terror with methods such as imprisonment, house arrests, and torture to suppress dissidents.
[Leung, LSD Chairman]:
"This year, the Chinese Communists utilized the so-called Code of Criminal Procedure even more so in order to perform secret arrests of any suspects at will, the CCP blatantly creates white terror without boundaries."
He said since Leung Chun-ying was elected, the Liaison Office has gained even more control over Hong Kong. He also urges Hong Kong residents to support democratic activities in Mainland.
[Leung Chun-ying, LSD Chairman]:
"First of all [I] oppose article number 23 of The Basic Law of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China, and [urge everyone to] fight for universal voting rights. Secondly, [I urge Hong Kong residents to] give more support towards democratic activities in Mainland China, because clearly, if Mainland China does not obtain democracy, then Hong Kong will not face a bright future."
The Communist regime did promise Hong Kong citizens universal voting rights, but still has not given any indication of when this will happen. Meanwhile Hong Kong citizens continue calling for democracy.
