    One Killed in Plastics Factory Fire in Taizhou, China

    A fire broke out in Sanxing plastics factory on April 2nd, about 45 minutes after midnight in China's Taizhou city in Zhejiang Province. One person was killed in the fire—the 42-year-old female boss of the factory.

    The four-story building was engulfed in flames. About 40 firefighters and 11 fire engines were dispatched to put it out.

    Many local residents were woken up by the noise of the fire and came out to the street to watch the flames.

    Residents say the fire started on the third floor where many plastic products and paperboards were stored.

    A journalists from Taizhou News web reported the fire was put out at around 9:00 in the morning.

    The fire also damaged some other factories nearby.

    The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
