Martin Gooch presents his feature-film debut with a wonderfully British sci-fi fantasy film. Gooch is well known for his short films, which thrill audiences, yet always make you giggle. A festival favourite has been Gooch's ORGASM RAY GUN.
DEATH tells the tale of "The inventor" (Freeman) who had been struggling for years with the loss of Tom, his youngest son, because of a tragic accident. Secretly he had been working on a device that would allow him to contact Tom in the after-life. Now he himself is dead and his other children return to the family home after many years to face each other, face facts and face the future. But what do they know of the past?
This is a charming and funny film and we are honoured to host the World Premiere.
