It looks as though Avon may still be calling after the cosmetics giant fought off a takeover bid by Coty. Avon has turned down a 10 billion dollar, or seven and a half billion euro offer, although Coty says it will offer more than the 20% premium currently on the table for Avon shareholders. Avon says the figure "substantially underestimates" the company.
