Character Education that works – Learn to love yourself
Children (K-5) learn to love themselves so they can develop meaningful relationships with others. Self-esteem and self-love are taught using a mirror in order for the children to grow and understand their self-image. The words “I just want to love you” are repeated in the mirror and in song. The class sings the song along with music and afterwards they discuss the meaning of self-esteem and self-love. Directed by Harold B. Pritchett, Character Education Teacher.
