The Mandolas are an original four piece folk-pop harmony group that formed in October 2010 under the name Nelson Mandola. The line up consists of two mandolins, two guitars, mandola and viola all played within the four band members, along with up to four part harmonies. They have been making a name for themselves around the Cork scene and have since branched out to other parts of the country including a high profile support slot with Paul Brady. The group are currently gearing up for the April release of their debut EP, 'My Greatest Day', which will be closely followed by a nationwide launch tour.
