Looks like American Idol has British boy band fever! Hi guys, I'm Bridget Daly and you're watching ClevverMusic. America has gone nuts for the Brits lately, so it makes perfect sense American Idol is on board with booking one of the biggest new acts on the scene—The Wanted! The boy band will reportedly perform on the April 5th results show of Idol, which yes, is next week!
The guys took to their Twitter page to announce the news, saying quote, "And now for our big news...we are excited to announce we will be performing on American Idol on 5th of April!! #TheWantedOnIdol." If you're still not familiar with these guys, they're pretty much everywhere these days, currently appearing all over the States to promote their self-titled debut album, which will hit shelves April 24.
