Kane and Lynch 2: Dog Days review. Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow review of Kane and Lynch 2: Dog Days from IO Interactive and Eidos Interactive for the PlayStation 3. Like the original, Kane and Lynch 2 is a very seedy, very vulgar and very violent shooter. But the sequel matches the tone to the graphics in a way the first one didn't, going for the look of some kind of grainy home video you probably had to order off some foreign website and probably shouldn't be watching in the first place. In terms of its gameplay, variety is scaled back for a simpler approach that focuses on things Kane and Lynch do well—namely, shooting guns. And swearing at each other. This can make Dog Days feel a bit more repetitive than its predecessor, but the game also maintains a much higher degree of quality and even excitement. This video review features video gameplay footage of Kane and Lynch 2: Dog Days for the PlayStation 3 and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Derek.
