Jane Ellen is proud to have been born and raised in Austin, Texas, "the live music capitol of the world." Her unique sound is a product of her life in Texas and the musical influences that shaped her songwriting skills. A singer and dancer at an early age, Jane served as co-captain of her high school drill team for two years, and enjoyed major roles in high school plays and musicals. After graduating from high school in 2009, Jane left for Nashville to study music at the prestigious commercial music program at Belmont University. Majoring in vocal performance, Jane continues to grow and mature as a musician. If she's not studying or performing with Belmont's popular all-female ensemble, "Session," she's writing music and performing alone or with friends at venues in Nashville. Jane still makes time to perform back in Austin, however, where her music draws an enthusiastic crowd. Check out songs and videos to hear samples of her music.
