He asked her what was behind the decision to release not one but two tracks together, and Rihanna said she was the one who actually reached out to him on working together!
She said he was the only person who would make sense to work with on the remix of Birthday Cake, saying quote, "The hottest R&B artist out right now is Chris Brown, so I wanted him on the track."
She said he then asked her to be on his remix of Turn Up the Music, and they did it so that their fans would quote "come together." So that's where you guys come in.
