Wendy Jack (from Tyrone) has worked on various music projects, many of which have involved raising awareness of human rights and environmental issues. Over the years she has had the privilege of collaborating with a host of talented and respected musicians, industry professionals and activists. However, Wendy has now reached the next stage in her own creative journey and is marking this with the 2011 release of the 'Wendy Jack EP' featuring the single 'SUNSETS'. On this project Wendy was delighted to work with acclaimed Irish producer and multi-instrumentalist Bill Shanley and the team at Cauldron Studios, Dublin. Gavin Murphy, (also an acclaimed producer/arranger) contributed piano and additional programming, while Ronan Browne, one of Ireland's leading traditional musicians played low whistle on the EP's opening track. During the promotion of 'SUNSETS' Wendy Jack simultaneously hopes to raise awareness (& funds) for the important work of international charity WAR CHILD.
