Israel and militants 'agree truce'
Four days of deadly cross border violence between Israel and Gaza could be over.

Egypt said on Tuesday it's brokered a truce which has now been agreed by Israel and Palestinian militant groups.

Between Friday and Monday at least 25 Palestinians lost their lives in Israeli air strikes.

At least 80 more have been wounded, most of them civilians.

The Israeli attacks were launched in response to rocket attacks from Gaza that wounded at least six people.

This rocket launch was shown in a video put out by the Palestinian Al Nasir Salah Eddin Brigades military wing.

Israel has said about 150 rockets were fired towards its territory from Gaza.

Some were intercepted by its Iron Dome anti-missile system.

Israelis in southern Israel whose homes are in the firing line for rockets from Gaza say they've had enough.

SOUNDBITE: Nattan Mier, resident of Niram Kiputs near Sderot, saying (Hebrew):

"Listen, it's all very unpleasant, very stressful. My wife will give birth soon. This situation of conflict and war is something we're very tired of."

There was no immediate comment from either side on the truce.
