Three months in the making, “L’Odyssée de Cartier” features Shalom Harlow as the quintessential Cartier woman, proudly exuding strength, beauty, and poise, with Cartier’s symbol and regal muse: the panther. The three-and-a-half minute film follows these two enigmatic figures through an exploration of the brand’s worldwide cultural influences, including places such as China, France, India, and Russia. “L’Odyssée” depicts the unfolding of the Cartier story and celebrates the worlds of design and luxury.
A screening of “L’Odyssée de Cartier,” a short-film celebrating the Cartier’s rich history and signature style, took place at The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York on February 29. The film was directed by advertising director Bruno Aveillan and was released to wider audiences on March 4 via the Internet and primetime television.
