London Southend Airport Work in Progress: A few days after the new terminal for London Southend was opened for use (not the official opening) we had a look around and we liked what we saw. We had to check it out because we intend to fly with Easy Jet soon.
We also had a look at our old flying club location, a bit of a shock to see that they were well underway of making the area into a Short Stay & a Long Stay car park!
It's amazing what you can do with £100,000,000! It's great to see the airport rise up and return to its former glory...DON'T FORGET US GA PILOTS, WE WERE HERE IN THE 70's TOO! So let’s work together and keep GA at EGMC.
