Derrière ce pseudonyme de pin-up, se cache une Lilloise que l'on a souvent aperçue au clavier, avec Brisa Roché ou au sein de Roken Is Dodeljik. Aujourd'hui, cette multi-instrumentiste, accompagnée du batteur Alexandre Lamoly et du bassiste Richard Horon, est le leader de so propre groupe. Quelque part entre le rock revêche du Velvet Underground, l'étrange sensualité de Shannon Wright et le sens de la cover chère à Cat Power, Lena Deluxe joue de la voix et des coudes pour tracer son propre sillon. Elle definie le résultat de "rock porcelaine" produisant des chansons directes mais soignées, un rock des bas-fonds, du folk de ruelle sombre, la tête dans le caniveau, le regard vers le lampadaire.
You may recognise Lille based Lena Deluxe as the keyboard player behind Brisa Roché or within Roken Is Dodeljik. Today, this multi-instrumentalist is accompanied by drummer Alexandre Lamoly and bassist Richard Horon forming her own band. They create music somewhere between the surly rock of the Velvet Underground, the sensuality of Shannon Wright, with a touch of Cat Power. She describes the result as "porcelain rock" - a meeting between rebel rock'n'roll groove and a certain feminine frailty.
