ORANGE GROVE (BalconyTV)

Orange Grove was started in 2001 on the island of Sint Maarten (The West Indies). Their name also comes from an area on the island in the Cole Bay district. After the band moved to Holland things picked up suddenly and with new members all coming from different parts of the Caribbean (Aruba, Curacao, Surinam and Sint Maarten) a new strong and dedicated group was born.
Orange Grove's music is over gowing with positive energy and feel-good vibes, as is typical of course with most good reggae. Do not be mistaken in thinking this is just merely more of the same from the reggae genre. Orange Grove has developed their own unique sound and by crossing over from reggae to many other styles like Hiphop, Zouk, Rock and Soca they have managed to create a style that is difficult to simply classify under one genre.
