This video is a little "shaky". I don´t know why, because I used a tripod. The train only stopps at Bahnhof Kottenforst at Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays. Nice to see here still the old Formsignale in action. In the background you can hear the noises of the station keeper, who maintains the hundred years old mechanical systems for the cables for the signals. But they want to replace the keeper with electronics. :(
Here a Bombardier Talent BR644 is on it´s way to Bonn on Sunday 02.12.07. It´s the very successfull Voreifelbahn Bonn - Euskirchen. Station Kottenforst is between station Meckenheim and station Witterschlick.
EDIT: I know now the reason for this shaky video and the picture movements in some of my other videos: I didn´t knew, that my camera has something like a "Steadyshot" mechanism. If used on a tripod, this shaking is sometimes the result. I have to switch this function off in the future, if I´m using the camera on a tripod.
