STORY: STAIR CLIMB FOR CLEAN AIR

Last weekend, hundreds of vancouverites took part in a stair climb activity.
The purpose is to raise awareness of chronic lung diseases and clean air among the public.
Our correspondent Al Campbell takes you to Vancouver to find out.

"About 500 Vancouverites have chosen a healthy way to spend their Sunday morning in participating in the 11th annual Stair Climb For Clean Air. Organized by the British Columbia Lung Association, the event is meant to raise funds, and more important, awareness about chronic lung diseases. The participants are expected to navigate this 48 storey building here behind me, climbing about 700 stairs in all, with the fastest competitors climbing the course in just over four and a half minutes."
