The North Korean Vice Foreign Minister arrived in China on Tuesday for talks about the country's controversial nuclear program. In two days, discussions will begin between North Korea, China and the US.
It's the third meeting between the three sides since the death of former North Korean dictator Kim Jong Il eight months ago.
The meeting is a step toward reviving the six-party talks that were launched in 2003. Involved were South Korea, the United States, China, Japan and Russia. But those talks ended in 2009 after it became clear North Korea had not abandoned its nuclear program.
