U.S. based think tank IHS says in its Jane's report that China's military budget will double by 2015, making it more than the rest of the Asia Pacific region's combined.While Professor Ma Gang with China's National Defense University called the IHS Jane's report sensational and lacking facts. He said its motivation was to play up China's military threat. According to official figures, China's military budget for 2011 accounted only 1.5 percent of the country's gross domestic product, in comparison with U.S.'s 4.8 percent and the U.K.'s 2.7 percent.
