Chinese Vice President Xi Jinping is in Washington, DC today, kicking off a four-day visit in the US.
Earlier today, he met with US Vice President Joe Biden and President Barack Obama in the White House.
Xi Jinping is the son of a powerful communist revolutionary and is a member of the ruling Politburo Standing Committee. That's made up of nine of the Chinese regime's most powerful Communist Party members.
Xi also serves as the Vice-Chairman of the Central Military Commission. He is expected to be appointed the next General Secretary of the communist party, and the next president of China.
