ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION):

Former Beatle Sir Paul McCartney received the 2,460th star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame Thursday (February 09). The legendary musician was on hand to reveal his sidewalk plaque, situated in front of the historic Capitol Records building, while hundreds of cheering fans looked on. McCartney is the last of the Beatles to receive the honor; his star now sits next to those of the other Fab Four members, Ringo Starr, George Harrison and John Lennon - and even a star for the band itself. "Way back in history, in Liverpool when we were kids and we were listening to Buddy Holly and all the rock and roll greats. I would have never thought the day would come when I'd be getting a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame," said McCartney. "That was an impossible thing to happen." McCartney, 69, is set to perform at the Grammy Awards on Sunday (February 12).
