Christmas goes couture. French designer Jean-Paul Gaultier presented his latest creation at the fair "Christmasworld" - an haute couture Christmas tree, adorned with fringes made from silk. Christmasworld is the world's largest decoration trade show and sets trends and innovations for holidays and parties. Gaultier was honored to be a part of the annual event. SOUNDBITE: Jean-Paul Gaultier, designer, saying (English) "You know I am first a fashion designer and only that which for me it's a lot. So what I wanted to do is like to dress the Christmas tree. So what did I do, some couture work, it means like to make one Christmas tree with fringe as you can see. So it's like an art deco, twenties, like Charleston dress."
