    Gaza strike killed terrorist planning attack on Egypt border

    An Israeli air strike killed two Palestinian militants traveling on a main Gaza road on Thursday. The car in which the two were traveling went up in flames on the crowded Omar al-Mukhtar street --Palestinians also reported several more casualties as a result of the explosion. According to the witnesses and paramedics, it was the first Israeli strike inside Gaza City since the three-week Gaza war in 2008-2009. According to the statement, the IDF strike was a targeted hit on a terrorist in the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigade who plotted to commit terror attacks against Israeli citizens and security forces through the Gaza border. The IDF confirmed that an Israeli air strike was carried out in the central Gaza Strip.
