Rishon Lezion to get an IMAX

In 15 months time residents of Rishon Lezion will be able to go to the movies in style once the new Yes Planet Rishon Lezion complex opens in 2012. On Monday attending a groundbreaking ceremony for the new complex mayor Dov Tzur said the new complex is just one more step in turning the city into a new center in Israel.The new complex will house 24 cinemas with a 3,600 seat capacity, five VIP halls, eateries, and the first IMAX in central Israel. The cost of the entire complex is said to be in the region of 160 million shekels.
