    Amos Oz's book in Kurdish

Israeli author Amos Oz was surprised to discover one of his books "A Tale of Love and Darkness" had been translated into Kurdish. The Arab publisher of Oz's book traveled to northern Iraq last year and was surprised to discover the book had been translated illegally into Kurdish and was selling at a local bookstore. He purchased a copy of the book and sent it to Oz's agent in London. The agent sent it to Oz who was delighted. Oz's book was published by Keter in 2002 and has sold more than a million copies worldwide and has been officially translated into 28 languages.
