The Israeli Defense Force evaluated the political and securable consequences of the UN investigation regarding the assassination of former Lebanese Prime Minister Rafik Hariri. Both IDf chief of staff- Gen. Gabi Ashkenazi and the head of the Shin Bet security office- Yuval Diskin expressed deep concerns for the substantial possibility in which Hezbollah Security General Hassan Nasralla will take power in Lebanon. The U.N. Special hearing for Lebanon is preparing to issue an accusation for the assassination, and it is widely believed that Hezbollah terrorists will be among those accused of the murder. Ashkenazi stated in Canada on Tuesday November 15th that "The publication of the report could destabilize Lebanon and be used as an excuse by Hezbollah to complete its conquest over the entire country." Weather these troubling news are merely a scare rhetoric by security authorities, it might as well be a good Idea at the moment to prepare for the possibility of an imminent missile confrontation.
