Rouicha is not only an artist, he's a legend. i've known Mr Rouicha, since i was a kid. as a matter of fact, my brothers back in late 70's helped Rouicha become who he is now. at first, my brother Mohammed, produced rouicha's first concert which took place at the"mohammed 5 theatre" then the second concert, at the " cinema Royal".so basically, those 2 events, were enough publicity for him to start his career.
Mr Rouicha, not only changed the music berber, but he also changed it's instrument.(witar), he's the first to upgrade the witar, from 3 strings(chords) to 4 strings instrument. now just think about it, how many famous artist do you know have done such a thing.
Rouicha, deserves so much more respect.
