Under the cloud of an increasing Iranian nuclear threat and escalating violence in Gaza, Prime Minister Ehud Olmert is heading to Washington on Saturday to part with outgoing President George W. Bush. The two will meet on Monday to discuss relations with Iran and Syria, Olmert will also update Bush on the continued bilateral negotiations currently underway with Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas. Olmert will meet with Abbas again immediately after he returns to Israel. 11/21/08
