Defense Minister Ehud Barak's decision to blockade Gaza came under fire after lawyers from two human rights groups filed suit against the decision, and won. The Israeli High Court agreed with the two groups' arguement that Israel's blockade of Gaza amounts to 'collective punishment', something the international community says is illegal. The High Court's decision isn't the final word on the blockade. Judges said that if rocket fire continues, Israel will indeed have the right to block the Gaza Strip once again. Fuel shipments restarted last Tuesday after two days of reduced shipments. 01/27/2008
