Corentin Boissier, born in 1995. Plans to become a composer and conductor. Lives in Paris-La Défense (France).

Sherlock Holmes, detective by profession, was invented in 1887 by the English novelist Sir Arthur Conan Doyle (1859-1930). The violin and the cello represent Sherlock Holmes (violin = exalted ; cello = depressed). The brass, in particular the tuba, represent his partner, Dr. John Watson.
All the drawings are from Sidney Paget (1860-1908), the first illustrator of Sherlock Holmes. The photographs show the two most famous actors who embodied Holmes : Basil Rathbone (1892-1967) and Jeremy Brett (1933-1995).
