Michael Jackson - You Rock My World

Michael Jackson doit être le nom le plus connu dans le monde. D'abord précoce, puis intersidéral, ce garçon a battu tous les records possibles en matière de musique. Michael est né le 29 août 1958 à Gary dans l'Indiana, septième d'une famille de neuf enfants. A l'âge de six ans, il est déjà le chanteur soliste et le chorégraphe des Jackson Five, l'aventure va durer jusqu'en 1982. Trois ans plus tôt, Michael sort son premier album solo Off the Wall. Il sort ensuite Thriller et Bad qui révolutionnent le monde de la musique et battront des records jamais égalés. The King of Pop est né, il ne quittera plus jamais le devant de la scène internationale. Quincy Jones produit les albums et Michael fait des tournées monumentales à travers le monde. Le Moonwalk, son fameux pas de danse, fait le tour du monde. Michael signe chez Sony un contrat historique, estimé à un milliard de dollars, pour six albums. Ses clips sont des films bourrés d'effets spéciaux. Black or White, Dangerous, HIStory, les opus cartonnent les uns après les autres.
En 1995, il se marie avec Lisa Marie Presley et divorce l'année suivante. Remarié ensuite, il a un fils Prince. Mai 1997, sortie de Blood on the Dance Floor...History in the Mix et dernier album en date, qui a été suivi d'une tournée sur l'ensemble de la planète. Puis, en 2001, paraît Invincible. 2 ans plus tard, Michael Jackson fait à nouveau l'objet d'une plainte pour abus sexuel sur mineur. Après un procès très médiatisé, le chanteur est acquitté par la justice en juin 2005, dans les poursuites dont il a fait l’objet. Un mois plus tard, il revient dans les bacs avec un best of, The Essential Michael Jackson.
