Iceland rejects debt bill to repay UK, Netherlands

http://www.nma.tv/ Britain and the Netherlands will take Iceland to court after Icelandic voters rejected a plan to repay the money the two countries say Iceland is obligated to repay following the collapse of Icesave. British and Dutch savers lost around 5 billion euros in savings when Icesave's owner Landsbanki collapsed in late 2008 during the global financial crisis. Britain and the Netherlands compensated savers and are now looking to Iceland for repayment of the money. http://www.nma.tv/iceland-referendum-upsets-uk-netherlands/
